Its all about Oil

There is a strong presence of corruption within the United States government, but none of us can do anything about it. Corruption can be defined as over use of power to gain personal needs while at the same time disobeying that law. This can also been seen within the fast food industry. For instance in Fast Food Nation Eric Schlosser discusses the issues of labor unions. Currier J Holman went to great lengths to counter the actions of unions being formed. The conditions of working in some fast food restaurants were unfavorable such as lower than minimum wage, workers being injured on the jab and no overtime was offered for those who needed it. Although these conditions were negative, many managers didn’t bother to do anything about it because these conditions benefited their own needs .The presence of corruption is evident in the ongoing pursuit of Oil. In this time in history oil is one of the most sought after items on the earth. America will take out the red carpet when it has a chance to seek more oil as Masss informs the readers how Obiang was treated as a guest of honor during a luncheon held in Washington. Government officials showed great interest in Obiang knowing that there was a great amount of oil in Africa
